If you contact us by e-mail, your message is forwarded to the operator of our mail hosting. Mail hosting is a type of hosting service dedicated to providing e-mail functions. It allows individuals, companies and organisations to create and manage e-mail accounts tied to their domain name (e.g. info@ingres.ch). Mail hosting providers normally offer e-mail services with features such as spam filtering, virus protection, webmail access and the option of using e-mail clients such as Outlook or Thunderbird. This type of hosting forms part of a larger hosting package, such as web hosting or domain hosting, or is offered as a standalone service. It is a convenient solution for anyone who needs a professional e-mail service with their own domain name. How long messages are kept is handled case by case. As a rule we archive your messages so that past enquiries remain traceable, for example in the case of follow-up questions on completed orders, repeat orders or complaints. In addition, the operation of mail hosting is subject to requirements governing which data must be collected and retained for security reasons. How we handle personal data
Personal data is information that makes a person identifiable, that is to say details that can be traced back to a person. This includes a name, an e-mail address or a telephone number. What we store when you send us an enquiry
When you contact us through our contact form, the details you provide are stored in order to process your enquiry and in case follow-up questions arise. We do not pass this data on without your consent. Contact enquiries are deleted from the CMS automatically after 1 year.
The data is stored on the same hosting storage as described above under "What our hosting provider stores automatically".

What newsletter data is used for

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information allowing us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address given and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. No further data is collected. We use this data exclusively to send the information requested and do not pass it on to third parties. You may withdraw your consent to the storage of the data and of the e-mail address, and to their use for sending the newsletter, at any time.

Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that third-party content is embedded within this online offering, for example videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (referred to below as "third-party providers") are aware of the users' IP address, because without the IP address they could not send the content to the browser of the user concerned. The IP address is therefore necessary in order to display this content. We endeavour to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely to deliver that content.
